Writing On or For Web is more than a creative job

Posted by Sanat on September 18, 2010

Sometimes Web-Content writing is not as creative as it may appear to you. Though, the inspiration and motivation is always there, especially during early years of your first job assignments. But, count on the chickens before they hatch. Take a gasp and go by the reality. It’s you only who can make such long-life writing habit a real charm, not the Web industry or the clients you are working for.content writing

In fact, most of the candidates from mass communication or journalism stream have a definite reason to explore this world of fantasy. And why not, you have got a platform to air your voice and views. And every article you write is going to carry your identity as an editor, correspondent, a freelancer or so and so. Readers identify you with great regards that awakens you to write another piece of story.

Well, on web the scenario is entirely different. Typically for a Search Engine Marketing company or other online publishing organization (not for in-house job), this concept of creativity and freshness have a separate angle of view, much different from Newspaper editor or magazine author.

I am enthusiastic about discussing on how a web copywriter or content writer copes up with his or her regular job schedule. How much struggle or effort they are putting in to come up with something NEW that attracts people. NEW does not signify News here.

It’s just to take you to the different world of creativity, yes- Web content writing needs patience and seasoning formula than just covering news. Covering news for fresh stories as information base is different from developing user-friendly article to target the millions of readers.

What makes the web-content writers competent to their multifaceted tasks? What gives them the energy boost to tame the web-audience? Follow my next article to be updated recently.

Content Writing with SEO Perspective | How for Client Websites?

Posted by Sanat on May 30, 2010

Writing for your own Blog and client’s campaign is not entirely different. Though for the second one ,your expressions need to be much polished, professional and preplanned. When you write article or Blog post to promote client’s website as your random assignment, you need to follow some guidelines.

We can take you on the way to showcase some of the steps here below:

  • Understand the significance of given keywords and topic ideas. Make out how they are related to client’s business website.
  • Examine and experience the website thoroughly. Visit the practice area, service profile, about us page and any customer testimonials for sure if available. Find news section about the topic with in the website. You will find every website has certain special marketing voice or being highlighted.
  • Over all get the pulse of thinking more on the user experience. Collect similar information from few hand-picked competitors. This information is primary and narrated by client themselves, so very much authentic and factual.
  • Develop the pre-writing plan with in yourself. Make a frame-work of all the information you want to put in. Next job is to arrange the collective knowledge in a particular order.
  • Feel which information web readers want to collect about the topic. Filter out the best search query options by the audience. This is very crucial stage when you ferment your most acceptable message for viewers.
  • Clients don’t have any relation with you.Why they should bother to skim your notes? You should realize, article or blogs are meant and considered to be from neutral source and not promotion specific. Reader’s expectation is high from such web pages. Means your post is going to be taken only if it is flavored with problem solving tips, needful updates, suggestions and awareness message.
  • Enrich your data collection zones. Register in social networking sites, forums, discussion panel, subscribe to Newsletter, RSS Feed, Blog post, Article feed. Get Google alerts on a particular topic. Incorporate your own views, judgments and recommendation.

Every sentence you draft or every message you thought upon the topic should do proper justice to visitors. Don’t ponder over for search engine friendly writing. If it is well accepted by readers, you would earn automatic votes from Search Engine too.

Don’t you like to see the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) pertaining to your Article or Blog post for a given keyword?
